Use this guide to deploy a new digital signage screen with Meeting Room 365 Signage.
1. Install the Chrome extension
- Install Meeting Room 365 Signage from the Chrome Web Store:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/meeting-room-365-signage/oafkapchndhdfnagjmpmdhjjokielkhj?pli=1 - For managed ChromeOS fleets, you can also deploy the extension from Google Admin.
2. Claim the display
- Open: https://admin.meetingroom365.com/claim
- Enter your Claim Code.
- Click Claim Display.
After claim completes, Meeting Room 365 creates the sign and opens the editor for that display.
3. Edit your sign from the dashboard
- In Admin, go to Signs.
- Select the sign you want to edit.
- In Edit Sign:
- Click New Slide to add content.
- Click a slide preview to select it.
- Click Edit on the preview overlay to change slide settings.
- Click Save changes in the modal.
The sign auto-saves after changes.
4. Configure display options
In the sign editor, you can also set:
- Group Name (optional)
- Rotate Display (
0°,90°,180°,270°) - Background Color
5. Launch and verify playback
From the sign editor menu:
- Open in New Tab to test the live sign URL.
- Cast to Device if you are using a cast workflow.
Confirm the device is online and rendering the expected slides.
Quick troubleshooting
- Claim code rejected: verify the code is correct and not expired.
- Sign not updating: refresh the sign editor and reopen the live URL.
- Wrong orientation: update Rotate Display and re-check the live sign.
