How to Add a new Status Board Display

The Status Board Display helps employees and guests find available rooms from a lobby TV, tablet, or signage screen — a flight board summarizing many meeting rooms at once.

Create the display in Admin

Add a new Status Board display
  1. Go to admin.meetingroom365.com and sign in.
  2. Click New Display.
  3. Select Status Board Display, name it, and click Create Display.
  4. Configure the Status Board tab (theme, branding, sorting, privacy).
  5. Optionally set Group name and Offline Displays to control which rooms appear (see below).
  6. When ready to deploy, click View Display and copy the URL.

Deploy — it's a URL

Status boards follow the digital signage model: copy a URL and open it full-screen wherever you run signage.

Production URLs use:

https://statusboard.meetingroom365.com/{theme}/?key={your-display-key}

Browser or TV mini-PC

Paste the URL into Chrome, Edge, or Safari on the device behind your TV and go full-screen. Works on Windows/Mac mini-PCs, Chromecast browsers, Android TV, Fire TV, and similar.

ChromeOS devices

Install the Meeting Room 365 signage Chrome extension and configure it with your board URL or display key.

iPad / Android / Fire kiosk apps

Status boards load in the same Meeting Room 365 kiosk apps used for room displays:

  1. Install the kiosk app on your tablet.
  2. Enter the status board display key at setup (or provision displayKey / displayUrl via MDM AppConfig).
  3. The app detects the display type and opens the correct status board URL automatically.

This is not Meeting Room TV — TV display keys cannot run in the tablet app.

Offline Displays (lobby-only / flight board)

You do not need a tablet outside every room. Create room displays in Admin for calendar data, then on the status board select Offline Displays to choose which rooms to summarize even when door hardware is offline.

EWS / Exchange users

If room displays do not appear immediately, the status board domain may not match your room displays' tenant domain (often different from your email domain).

Set Status Board Domain on the display configuration page, or set the domain attribute in the Advanced configuration editor to match the Tenant Domain on your room displays. Reach out to support if rooms are still missing.
