Securing your Displays

Updated February 14, 2020

Each display is secured by its display key. Don't share it publicly. Once a display is set up, you can restrict it further in 2 ways.

IP filtering

If your office has a fixed public IP, you can tie a display to that network. From anywhere else, the display won't load its meetings. See IP Filtering.

Locking a display

Locking stores a secret on the connected display. After that, requests for its meetings need the secret, so only that device can show them. Unlock the display before you set it up again.

  • One display: open it in the admin portal and use Lock Display or Unlock Display. The card shows whether it's locked.
  • Several displays: select them on the dashboard and press Lock or Unlock, or use Bulk Utilities.

Each display's thumbnail on the dashboard shows a lock icon when it's locked.
